This quiet, safe campground offers 37 serviced sites, cable TV, free showers, picnic tables, shade trees, senior discounts, groceries and a service station. It is located only 3.5 km (2 mi) from downtown. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available.

Stamp River Provincial Park Campground
Stamp River Park is most known for the spectacular annual spawning journey by thousands of salmon via the pool below Stamp Falls. The park also offers a network of hiking trails and wildlife spotting opportunities. 23 vehicle accessible campsites are set in the forest, some overlook the river. There are 6 pit toilets located at the campground. The campground is open all year but services will not be provided during the winter season, October 16 to April 14. Directions Following Hwy 4 northwest past Port Alberni, turn right onto Beaver Creek Rd. Follow signs to the park.

Lakeshore Campground & Cottage
Located on Sprout Lake in the Historic Alberni Valley, Lakeshore Campground & Cottage offers a variety of activities and amenities including a private swimming area, boat dock, boat rentals and laundry services. There are 31 sites, each equipped with clean water, power, cable and sewer hookups.

Arrowvale Campground is located seven minutes from downtown Port Alberni, and just minutes from the McLean's Mill National Historic Site. It is family-oriented and visitors are provided with easy access to river swimming and riverside hiking trails.

Ark Resort Port Alberni
Ark Resort is situated 20 km (12 mi) west of Port Alberni on the shores of Great Central Lake, and offers easy hiking access to Della Falls in Strathcona Provincial Park. Sproat Lake Provincial Park
Two separate campgrounds exist in this popular provincial park in the Alberni Valley. Lower Campground, situated by the lake, is open all year, while the Upper Campground is open from April until early October. Full service sites are offered seasonally.
